                             Danville Planning Commission

                                       23 August 2007

 Attendees:             Jeff Frampton, Kim Prior, Derek Fenby, Alison Meaders, Nancy Lewis

 Start:               Meeting opened at 7:05 pm

 New Business:

 Finalized the Municipal Planning Grant request due in September 2007.  Jeff to call Deborah Noble for input to detail the consultant funding portion of the grant.

 Nancy Lewis gave an update on the mapping project.

 Discussed cost of certified mail for zoning permits and consideration for passing fees to applicants.  Alison will survey how these fees are handled in other towns.

 Questions arose about state requirements for land reclamation for quarrying and earth extraction activities.  We will investigate meeting with the state to understand more about their requirements.

 Our current zoning bylaw expires November 24^th.  The Planning Commission plans to have our new Article 5 Administration and Enforcement section complete, to public hearing and to the selectboard in time to submit in November.    The Planning Commission will meet the next 3 consecutive Thursdays (August 30, September 6 & 13) to work on this.

 Continued redraft of Zoning Bylaw.

 Budget:
