Minutes of Monthly Meeting Danville Planning Commission
27 August 2009 Start: Meeting opened at 7:05 pm Bylaw changes heading toward final public hearing: - Jeff attended selectboard meeting last week for updates - Plan is to warn selectboard’s second meeting in September as a public hearing meeting (Kim to get with Mert for date) - Alison will get a cost from Tracey, NVDA, to take our current tax map, add current zoning, implement new village map (map needed before bylaw changes can be enacted) 2009-2010 Municipal Planning Grant: - Alison walked through tasks for 2009-2010 - Scheduled planning meeting (us & Noelle McKay, Smart Growth) on September 22, 7:00 pm. During that meeting we will compile an list of invitees to our focus groups (email any that come to mind to Alison or Nancy) and work on further planning - Alison will respond to mid-term status due in a couple of weeks - proposing Thursday October 22, 6:00 pm for public kickoff meeting and 2 focus groups, Friday October 23 for remaining 2 focus groups Discussed January-February timeline for meeting with other villages to decide how to replace design control with new village standards Began work on Fence ordinance (Jim leading) VIT Training September 17th 7:00 pm $45 at Lyndon State College interactive classroom.
