Alison provided an update on the Flood Plains seminar that Nancy and she attended. A future meeting will be dedicated to reviewing this part of our Bylaw to ensure we have it updated with the latest information and requirements.

Kim reported RFP for Village Center Bylaw Recommendations was sent out to past consulting companies that have worked with the Planning Commission as well as selected companies from the on-line reference list. RFP responses due back end of March. Steering Committee membership discussed with confirmation that Gail Devereaux chair of the DRB will participate.

A second meeting to review status of the US Route 2 project was delayed due to weather. The meeting will be rescheduled in March. Jeff and Derek will attend next meeting.

A review of the revised “Draft Permit Application” resulted in a recommendation to wait for Linda Leone’s feedback to see if anything else needs to be added or amended and a copy should be sent to VLCT for their feedback on the Certificate of Compliance article to ensure we have closed all of the possible loop holes. Alison volunteered to send the permit to VLCT for their review.

DPC members advised of “DRB Training” session to be held Wednesday March 5th, 2008 at Town Hall following regular DRB meeting. DPC members encouraged to attend.
