Minutes of Monthly Meeting Danville Planning Commission 26 January 2006
Attendees: Jim Ashley, Jeff Frampton, Kellie Merrell, Mike Smith Absent: Derek Fenby, Alison Meaders, Jeremy McMullen Guests: None Start: Meeting opened at 7:08 pm Previous Minutes: The Minutes from the previous meeting were read by the clerk and accepted. Public Hearings: None New Business: Zoning Districts: A suggestion that the names of the zoning districts be made more descriptive of their actual use. Public Review of 2005 Mapping Grant results: The consultants who have been updating the town map will present their results at a special meeting 7PM 16 February 2006 at the town hall. The general public is invited and a special invitation is extended to Tom Decker, Tracy Zschau, the Zoning Administrator, the Town Listers and the Design Review Board. Town Meeting: It was suggested that the PC develop a survey for use at the Town Meeting (6 March) with a focus on zoning issues. PC members should be prepared to develop the survey questions at the next monthly meeting. The Planning Commission recommends that Tracy Zschau be submitted to the Danville Board of Selectmen for consideration as the Danville Conservation Commission Chairperson. Action Items: Zoning training session is to be scheduled in March. Derek will contact VCLT to set up a training session. The DRB, ZA, listers, BOS and Mert Leonard will be invited. Get contact name (Becka?) and meeting schedule for Rails to Trails non-motorized users working group.
