1/22/04 Minutes

Present:  Mike Smith, Jim Ashley, Jeremy McMullen, Kellie Merrell

Absent: Jeff Frampton, Derek Fenby, Scott Palmer

The commission reviewed Jeremy and Kellie’s comments and accepted or flagged them in the working draft.  Mike submitted a hardcopy of additional items in sections VI, VIII and XI that he’d like to see carried over into the new plan.  The commission did not have time to consider all of these, but Kellie will incorporate into the working draft.

Kellie will check with the Principal at the School to reserve the cafeteria for the week of February 16^th for the public working meeting on the plan.  (She was able to reserve it for 7 p.m. on February 18^th by the time these minutes were written up).  This workshop needs to be warned in typical fashion, advertised in North Star and Caledonia Record.

Kellie will get Jim Ashley Landworks’ e-mail so he can send them an electronic copy of the report on the businesses in Danville.  Jim’s computer is still down and he will find another one to e-mail from.

Kellie will e-mail 2 versions of the working draft to Landworks after having incorporated Mike’s additional comments and cleaning up the 2^nd version.  Version 1 will have all the strikeouts and comments included.  Version 2 will have all agreed upon strikeouts removed and items in dispute will remain, but be highlighted for future discussion.

By next Thursday, January 29^th, members will need to the get the information they collected per assignments on 1/15/04 meeting to Landworks for incorporation into the new version.  In addition, members need to bring any additional items/info they want incorporated into the plan to the January 29^th meeting.
