Minutes of Monthly Meeting Danville Planning Commission 29 January 2004 Attendees: Mike Smith Absent: Scott Palmer Jeff Frampton Derek Fenby Jim Ashley Jeremy McMullen Kellie Merrell Guests: Start: Meeting opened at 7:10 pm Previous Minutes: Read by the Clerk and accepted by the DPC as written. Public Hearings: None scheduled. New Business: Budget reviewed and it was agreed to pay postage of $37.00 to support mailings for Woodlands for Wildlife land use workshop to be held in Town Hall 14 Feb. 04. To be charged to DPC 2004 operating budget. Agreed to pay Landworks $185.00 to obtain ortho maps for town plan. To be charged to Planning Grant. Dave Coburn contracted to correlate “2003 Danville Landowners Survey”. To be charged to Planning Grant. Notice of abandonment and discontinuance exemption from the Lamoille Valley Railroad Company given to Derek to support writing letter. Discussed handing out a survey at Town Meeting to get feedback on specific issues and topics. Should be limited to about 10 – 15 questions, yes / no answers. Each member to draft about 5 possible questions. Plan Preparation Update: Meeting scheduled with Landworks for 4 Feb 04 at 7:00 pm at Town Hall to discuss plan goals and upcoming town workshop. Kellie to contact Landworks to see what kind of wording they would like to use in advertisements for upcoming 18 Feb 04 town workshop. Advertisement of town workshop to be put into the Caledonian Record (Thursday 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th). Will also put note in Poulous Notice and Caledonian “Things to Do”. All must be submitted by Friday, 6 Feb. 04. Town Workshop Flyers to be put up in school, North Danville, Marty’s, Hastings, Town Hall, Post Office, Library, Larrabee’s, Danville Hardware and will hand out at Coverts meeting.
