Start:                           Meeting opened at 7:15 pm

Previous Minutes:            The Minutes from the previous meeting were read by the clerk and accepted.

New Business:       

RFQ for consulting support: Alison presented a draft of a RFQ and it was reviewed. Alison will update the RFQ and circulate an e-mail copy. Short term and long term zoning bylaw needs were discussed. A deliverable of review of zoning bylaw needs was discussed.

DRB liaison: Jim attended the 5 July DRB hearing and gave an overview of the zoning training session planned for 10 July. Mike will attend the 2 August DRB hearing.

Historic Commission: Jim attended an Historic Commission meeting where zoning issues in the design control areas were discussed.  A suggestion that the current method of designating design control areas by boundaries, i.e. seemingly arbitrary lines on a map, be replaced by using distances on specific roads was made. For example the design control area would extend for ½ mile South of the Danville Green along the Danville-Peacham Road.
