Attendees:      Jeff Frampton, Nancy Lewis, Kim Prior, Jim Ashley, Alison Meaders, Derek Fenby, Mike Boudreau, Public (sign in sheet circulated)

Start:              Meeting opened at 7:05 pm

Public meeting for feedback on bylaw changes.   Suggestions to consider:

-          Permit offices (smaller?) in historic district

-          Get rid of split lot sizes (state regulates water & sewer requirements – go with one minimum lot size)

-          Allow alternate energy systems (although state exempts anyways)

-          Fix spelling of ‘transfer station’ in definitions

-          Page 25:  Concern with mobile homes being allowed in the village (by state law, these are allowed wherever conventional housing is allowed).  This can be addressed with design review guidelines, which are not part of the proposed changes (need to be addressed at a later date).

-          Should other villages be treated like Danville Green?

-          Do better job stating ‘intent’ (for fences, etc.)

-          Need definition of line fences – should not be subject to setbacks (ordinance needed…)

-          Concerns about denigration of historic sites – need definition of – want something to protect

-          Stream not correct on zoning map

Presenting draft bylaw to selectboard on August 6.

Public feedback will be addressed at our August 27^th regular meeting.
