Start:              Meeting opened at 7:05 pm

New Business:

Our eVermont grant application was not approved (we didn’t have much lead time).  Peter McAlenney and Jeremy McMullen will continue in preparation for applying next year.

We need to close out our Municipal Planning Grant in June – Jeff will see Mert on details; Alison to write closure.

Wendy (Town Clerk) is looking for meeting minutes from North Danville April 22nd  meeting – Alison to give notes to Kim, who will type up.

Discussion of whether or not to pursue a sign ordinance – Jeff to discuss with selectboard.

Nancy will work on Town Plan, due for renewal this December.   Will begin by looking at Smart Growth Municipal Planning Grant outcomes to see if any should be incorporated (Jeff to forward to Nancy, along with electronic version of town plan)

Alison to call 116 Hill Street California Bank pre-foreclosure to see if interest in donation to NEK Habitat for Humanity.

Alison, per Linda Leone’s request, will conduct a policies and procedures training during Development Review Board meeting June 23rd.  Suggestion to invite Selectboard also as Alison will cover the legalities of permit process (proper referrals and handling).

For next North Danville meeting (work towards updating bylaws) – looking at becoming a certified local government, since focus is on historic preservation.  Alison to send us links so we can learn more about;  Jeff to contact Carl Nietsche (potential new planning commissioner) to host a meeting in July.

Close:              Meeting adjourned at 8:35 pm
