Danville Planning Commission

 Attendees:  Alison Meaders, Kim Prior, Jeff Frampton, Nancy Lewis, Jim Ashley, Derek Fenby

 Start:  Meeting opened at 7:15 pm

 New Business:

 Zoning Bylaws:  With the Brighton Town plan as a template and Jeff as scribe, began rewrite of administrative piece of Danville’s Zoning Bylaw. 

Action Items: 

Derek:  Talk to Kevin Gadapee about Kevin’s role in Zoning Application Review

Alison:  Research difference between a Site Plan Review and a Site Visit

Kim:  Talk with County Forester about regulations for logging operations over 40 acres:

-          find out if we have authority for permitting forestry practices – see page 29, section 504 2 B of Brighton Zoning Bylaw)

-          investigate communications around state permitting in accordance with town zones 

Jeff:  Inform Joel Cape in Brighton that we’re using their plan as a template (and obtain Joel’s learnings since the plan has been in use)

Jim:  Work with Terry Hoffer, editor, North Star Monthly to create a next issue article on Planning Commission activities

All:  For next meeting, think about ways we (Planning Commission) could benefit from computer activities

Next Warned Meeting:  Thursday 28 June 2007, 7:00 pm in the Town Hall

Meeting Agenda:  Continue Zoning Bylaw rewrite.
